The Silos Immersive Theatre Project (2023) was a groundbreaking fusion of theater, digital art, and interactive storytelling, transforming industrial heritage spaces into dynamic performance venues. At its core was a modern, feminist reimagining of Rapunzel, reinterpreting the classic tale through a contemporary lens. Staged across the four main silos, the production featured live actors interacting in real-time with projection mapping, seamlessly blending performance with VR and AR elements to create an unparalleled immersive experience. The project had a budget of $3 million.

As writer-director, Aria played a pivotal role in shaping the project, leading brainstorming, scripting, editing, and theatre directing, while also overseeing production design, sound design, and music. Her creative vision brought depth and innovation to the performance, making it a landmark production within China’s immersive theatre scene.
